*Donation Appeal for Masjid Bilal (Bradford) – New Masjid Hall with additional 2 Floors*
We are humbly requesting donations towards the rebuild of the Masjid Jamaat Hall along with two additional floors above it. This includes the installation of an additional staircase to all floors for health & safety.
This project was urgently required to address the leak issues and to provide additional space for the community along with the relevant services like Dua/Taaziyat facilities for both men and women. This would also provide additional class-space for the Madrassah.
We managed to get the funds to be able to start the project. However, further funds are critical if we want the project to have no delays. If the project carries on as planned, we have been advised the Masjid could be completed in time for Ramadhan 2027.
Supporting this project is an opportunity to earn ongoing reward (Sadaqah e Jaariya) for all who contribute.
There have been many pledges made with only a handful who have fulfilled these pledges. We humbly request for those to come forward as these funds are now needed.
*EXPENSES SO FAR:*
• £50k - Old Masjid demolished and rubble cleared.
• £150k - Panels & windows removed, groundwork, foundation laid.
• £4.5k - Building inspection & Progress.
• £190k - Steel structure measured & ordered. (Deposit paid, final payment due when the structure is up.)
The steel structure has been measured and the order placed. Funds allowing, the steel structure will be up towards the end of July 2026 Insha’allah. The build will start shortly after. Again, if funds are available.
